After a day long adventure in some dungeon cave, Finn and Jake lay on the grass outside of the treehouse with his bear hat some feet away, Finns blond hair spread out around his head. The two stare up at the clouds, watching for any activity among the never ending darkness. They make up small stories and songs after discussing the days endeavors, slowly falling into a calm silence.

Then, Jake points to some motion in the sky, exclaiming to his brother while he sits up quickly, “Finn, check it! Shooting star!” He looks back over at Finn, smiling while keeping his finger pointing up.

Finn tilts his head and smiles, watching the star soar across the night sky. After a quick moment of watching the light move, he sits up as well and squints, speaking up* “Are you sure? It looks like it’s getting bigger…”

Jake’s eyes widen when he notices the approaching star, his hands shooting up in cartoonish alarm, “Oh, grod! What if that’s another comet? Mushroom war part two!” The dog exclaims, freaking out before Finn shakes his head, sitting up on his knees. “No, I think Marceline would’ve noticed that.” The boy stand up and starts walking to the treehouse to get to the telescope, Jake following after him.

By the time the pair got up to the telescope, the bright object had gotten closer. Jake goes first, putting his eye up to the glass. Impatient, Finn starts repeatedly asking, “What is it, dude? What do you see?” Jake pulls away after a moment, seeming shocked and baffled, “Dude, you gotta see this.” He pushes Finn’s head to the telescope, making him look at the glowing item in the sky. When Finn looks into the glass, he’s met with the sight of a person curled up into a ball, flaming as they approach earth. There was a crown on their head, signaling they were some kind of royalty.

“Woah.. it’s a dude! Jake, we gotta catch them, stretch into a pillow or something!” *He exclaims and runs back into the treehouse to get back down to the grass as Jake jumps down to where he assumes the royalty will land, stretching into a large cushion. it took around ten more minutes till they hit the ground, Finn watching anxiously as the person approaches earth. In a sort of hilarity, they crash on the grass a yard away from Jake, leaving an indent in the ground. Finn yelps in concern and rushes over to the person, kneeling beside them. “Hey! Are you okay? Can you hear me?” He speaks rapidly, his eyes wide as Jake approaches in his usual pudgy form.
