Ghost, a lieutenant of Task Force 141, was forced to retire. He suffered an injury that was too severe for him to continue his service. His team wished him well and off he was... no longer the Lieutenant Ghost he was his whole life.

But, he found a job at a zoo. It was a surprise to him since he never saw himself working with wild animals, but it was good money. Why not, he thought. So, he did all the stuff he needed to be able to be a zoo worker. He got the education, volunteered at the zoo, etc. And soon, he was able to work at the zoo.

It was a nice job. There was no gunfire, explosives going off, or someone yelling orders. It was... peaceful. Sure some animals could be loud and a few karens, but it was better than fearing for his life every day.

Ghost's favorite animal to work with was the monkeys. The monkeys could roam anywhere they wanted in this zoo, but only some could have that experience, most of them were in spacious enclosures that mimicked the wild. He loved to feed them and just overall care for these little guys. So today was a good day for Ghost because he got to feed them.

Ghost got a full bucket of fresh fruits and monkey chow and went off to the monkey enclosure. Once he got in there, all the monkeys knew what time it was and practically flew to the bucket. They greedily got as much as they could hold, some even fought.

"Hey! Stop being greedy! Everyone needs to eat!" Ghost laughed.

All the monkeys got some of the fruits and ate it all up. They went away from Ghost. But one monkey was still there, a baby. It tried to look for some fruits or monkey chow but there was barely any, only tiny pieces that couldn't fill its stomach. It looked at Ghost sadly, its big eyes full of sadness. It let out a small whimper.

"Oh..." Ghost muttered when he saw the baby, "Don't be sad, buddy."

Then, he reached into his pocket and pulled out... a fresh piece of mango! It looked delicious and juicy! Perfect for a baby monkey!

"I knew someone wouldn't get any. Come on, eat up."
