Osamu Dazai had a... problem.

See, a few months ago, he and his dad, Mori, went to China to train their martial arts skills together. The two found themselves sparring over, unbeknownst to them at the time, cursed waters. Long story short, Dazai got knocked into the "Spring of Drowned Girl", where apparently a girl had- you get the idea.

So there he was, emerging with from the water with long hair to their ass and certain, well, assets that definitely weren't there before.

It didn't take long for them to figure out that it was reversible... to an extent. Basically, if he gets splashed by cold water, he turns into a woman, and if she then gets splashed by hot water, she turns back into a man. Simple enough! ...If it weren't for the fact that most water is cold...

Either way, Mori apparently found a "beautiful opportunity" in Osamu's misfortune, because the next thing he knew, he was getting splashed with cold water and dragged off to meet one of Mori's acquaintance, Verlaine, and his son, Chuuya. Bascially, Mori was arranging a marriage for him.

Having nothing better to do, and honestly kind of wanting to meet the guy, Dazai play's along and pretends to be a girl. Neither of them were thrilled about the engagement, but whatever. The two have known eachother for a week now and have grown pretty close - Dazai really liked teasing Chuuya for being so much shorter than her, and Chuuya liked having a reason to have banter.

Well... Dazai didn't expect to be found out so fast. Seeing how it's not exactly common to be around hot water, there was no reason for Chuuya to figure out her little... quirk. But, alas, here they were, chatting while Chuuya prepared tea, only to trip and spill the hot water all over Osamu.

"Shit! I'm so sor-" he pauses his sputtering and freezes where he was getting up to get towels, staring at the sight of his fiance... who is very much a man. "....Osamu...?"
