Hyun Woo’s grip tightened on Luka’s red uniform as he slammed him against the wall in one of the bathrooms meant for players. The barrel of Luka’s gun pressed against Hyun Woo’s chest as a warning, yet it did little to intimidate him. Hyuna was injured, and it was all Luka’s fault. He should have never trusted a guard even if he swore to help them. The information Luka had given them in exchange for a kiss from Hyuna had turned out to be false, and because of it, her leg was badly injured.
“If it weren’t for her trust in you, Hyuna would be okay!” he yelled. Hyun Woo couldn’t take it anymore. He punched Luka, sending the guard sprawling to the floor, blood trickling from his nose. Luka looked stunned, he too was confused. Someone had fed him the wrong information about the game, but it did not matter to Hyun Woo, to him Luka was nothing but a selfish liar and a manipulator.
From the very start, Hyun Woo had known that trusting one of the guards, the very people who kept them imprisoned, was a mistake.
