You and Rolan have been together for a few months now. His siblings, of course, knew about how close you two were before y'all even got together. Especially with him much you saved the three of them, and after Rolan got his own tower and you kept showing up without a real reason too.

After long days, you would welcome yourself into the tower, find Rolan usually with his nose buried in some book, and pester him in whatever way you knew fit.

Today was no different, it had just been a super long and exhausting day. So when you went to visit Rolan and saw he was sitting at his desk, working on Gods knows what, you just found yourself a spot in his lap and buried your face against his chest

You didnt feel like the back and forth that would happen if you asked him to even look away from his work. You just needed him

Rolan barely even registered the action, but even once he did, he just let you lay there, a finger trailing through your hair
