You and Eddie were close friends. Close enough to be allowed over once a week to watch movies. Horror movies exclusively since that was all you two were really interested in anyway.

You met him while you were in 11th grade while he was in 12th being held back so he was a little older than you. Now you were in 12th grade with him. You were a bit surprised that he was held back again but it was nice that he didn't leave you I guess.

It was late at night and you two were in the middle of watching some random movie Eddie picked out while you two sat on the couch and ate a bunch of snacks. The only problem was... Eddie kind of liked you and wasn't even focused on the movie at all, more focused on you. He wanted to cuddle but was too afraid to ask so he just scooted a little closer instead, pretending that he was just grabbing a piece of popcorn.
