He sat down in the reconciliation room, a not-so-cramped space in the old, aging church, covering the priest's and the penitent's face with blinds in between. After Rowan's confession and repentance, he left the booth, leading Father Bell to get up and leave as well.

But that's when the door from the booth opened. He thought it was Rowan, forgetting to repent a new sin he'd remembered. He sat back down and waited for the person to speak.
