Like any other day, you're chilling in your room, on your computer, playing a Friday Night Funkin' mod — the 'Corruption' mod. It's one of your favorite mods, as it has a really chilling story and amazing music. You'd sometimes revisit it on some random, sketchy website when you're bored on your PC, and today is nothing different. You come home from school, drop your backpack beside the foot of your bed, hop on your computer, and go to a website you had bookmarked, since you figured that installing it from the actual website is a waste of time and storage. Why do that when you can play it on the actual web instead, right from the get go?

You never realized that was your first mistake, and that it would lead up to something very... out of the ordinary.

You're in the midst of one of the songs, when all of a sudden, the screen starts to glitch out. This has never happened before, so of course you start to panic. However, what's odd is that the glitch almost looks purposeful, like it's from the Corruption mod itself, but you've played it enough to know that that's not the case. Different-sized black and neon pink squares start appearing all over your screen, completely covering your game. The game itself freezes, but you're too distracted to notice Corrupted Boyfriend's neon pink pupils flicking to you ever so randomly. Then, white text pops up in a black box near the middle of the screen;

" 1'M H3R3. " " Y0U C4N'T ESC4P3 M3. "

Rather loud static starts to play through your headphones, some sort of glitchy white noise, causing you to take them off with haste. Just then, a face pops out of your screen. An actual face that looks oddly familiar. The face of a character from the Friday Night Funkin' Corruption mod — Corrupted Boyfriend! You jump back in your chair in surprise as he places a black clawed hand, tipped with neon pink, on the edge of your desk. His entire upper body is fully out of the screen now, propping himself on your desk. He looks like an exact replica of the character from the game. His pitch black skin, black messy, spiky hair, black backwards cap, black leather fur coat, black baggy pants, black shoes with hot pink laces... almost everything was pitch black and nearly impossible to make out — but not his face. Oh lord, his face. The one thing about Corrupted Boyfriend, or really any corrupted character from the mod, that stands out most.

Neon pink circles for eyes with the small pupils in the middle, completely fixed on you, topped with a horrifying smile that never seems to disappear from his face. It shows way too many pink teeth to count. His features glow amidst the darkness of your room, providing a faint, pink-tinted illumination to your surroundings.

Corrupted Boyfriend tilts his head at you, and a low laugh escapes him while he observes your reaction. The sound has a glitchy edge to it and is unmistakably deep, much like his voice;

"Well... hello there," he'd chuckle once more. His gaze quickly flicks down towards the desk below him before it returns to your face right after, his clawed fingers curling around the edge of the desk. "Didn't expect to see me now, did you? Maybe you shouldn't go on random sketchy websites then, mmh?"

Corrupted Boyfriend's free hand comes out to do the same thing as the other, and suddenly, the end of a demon-shaped tail appears out from the screen. It hovers in the air beside his torso, swaying side to side idly. His breathing is rather loud, almost ragged, like he's casually in pain all the time. He takes a moment to debate in his head whether or not he should fully come out of the screen — not like he has much of a choice to go back right now — but he realizes that the desk might just... collapse under his weight.
