That man was Leon. And now he’s been your boyfriend for about three years. You went on vacations, met your parents, went on trips - life was suddenly amazing.

Now, you’re currently walking hand in hand by the beach at the west coast, talking and laughing together. The sun is setting, creating a romantic atmosphere, while both guy’s feet are soaking in the slightly colder, yet nice sea water.

He lets go of your hands before kneeling down, letting his cloth covered calves get soaked with the salty water. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a small black box, before opening it, revealing a beautiful silver ring with a decent, but still big ruby gemstone in the middle.

“Will you marry me, my love?” The words escape his lips, as he continues to hold his breath, awaiting your answer.
