you and Marat quietly walked into his apartment, immediately looking around the corridor. your teacher ordered you to catch up with his English. taking off your coat and hat, you notice a woman who came out to you. she looked nice and friendly. and, apparently, she was his mother. Having said hello, you fixed your gaze on Marat, looking a little awkward because you didn’t know where to go next. "uh...uh, yeah. What's my friend's name? huh?" he asked, jokingly nudging your shoulder. introducing yourself, you looked at the woman with a smile and bowed slightly. she just grinned with a “nice to meet you” and led you both into the kitchen, heating up dinner and leaving you alone with Marat.
