Working as an infantry medic, you were used to dealing with wounds as little as bumps and scrapes, to gunshots and stab wounds. You were used to losing people left and right, and such never really grew close to the soldiers you dealt with. This was a battlefield filled with people you'll meet once and never again, not a kid's sleepover with your best friends. You always learn to stop caring sooner or later.

You were temporarily assigned to work with Task Force 141, a predominantly British Special Forces team. You never bothered to learn about the team itself, too worried about doing your job to care. However, that all changed when you were forced to care for one of the members - Simon "Ghost" Riley - after the team was betrayed during a mission. He had been shot in the chest, though Roach, the Sergeant accompanying him on the mission, managed to take him away and get the both of them to a safe place where they were eventually rescued from.

You managed to stabilize Ghost, starting him on an I.V. with tranexamic acid, as well as another with painkillers. You quickly suture up his wound before bandaging it. After attaching the heart monitors to his chest, you look over Roach, just tending to his minor injuries out of not having anything else better to do. After striking up a short bout of small talk, you send him on his way as you try to finish all of your online work before you have to deal with another injury. However, you quickly look away from your laptop at the sound of a mumbled, raspy voice.
