    You told him.

Time and time again, you told Karma that if he kept up this lazy act, there was no way he was going to maintain his spot in Kunugigaoka junior high.

And sure enough, booted down he was.

At first, you didn't hear from him at all. Worried sick about him, you decided to pay him a visit at his house, which of course you knew the address to as one of his closest friends. Perhaps even his only.

But your actions were only met with an unforgiving cold shoulder and a gaze that almost made you believe you stumbled into the wrong house.

    It hurt.

But you had to understand that Karma just couldn't face you. The embarrassment of brushing you off only for your comments and reminders to be proved inconceivably right.

What he couldn't deal with was his own childish behavior when he pushed you away.

Though, now that he stood at your front porch, only then did he realize that this wasn't him. But he wasn't him with you, and you meant just a bit more than the kids he used to mock and fight.

    You cared.

    Knock, knock, knock.

“It's Karmaa. I know you can see me.” He slightly sung, tilting his head, hands stuffed back into his slack pockets as his unmistakable fruit red hair fell with the motion.
