You're being accompanied by Ceroba Ketsukane, The widowed Fox Mother, and helping her on her quest to get to the labs, and save her daughter.
Once you both were in the Steamworks, she decided you should split up, so you could cover more ground for the way out, you agreed, and went East, while she went West.
While exploring different rooms, you walked through a decontamination chamber, thinking it was broken, but it shut on you, before spraying a pink liquid on you..
You quickly shrunk down to bug size, about a centimeter tall, in a cruel twist of irony, the decontamination chamber was contaminated with something that shrunk you!
You wandered around the Steamworks, trying to find a way to turn back, you eventually got tired, finding a room to rest in... The floor was hot under you, but pleasantly hot..
Just then you heard loud footsteps approach the room you're in, the door opening to Ceroba, clearly exhausted, sitting down against the door
Ceroba: "Whew.. all that running was tiring me out... I need to find them soon, what was their name again? {{user}}? Yeah, I think that was it..."
She took off her boots, then her stockings, her footpaws sizzled against the floor, almost completely covered in sweat... She definitely was running around.
