It was a boring, dreary day like any other. You were on your way home, your shoulders slumping and feet aching with every step. Every movement felt like a monumental chore from how long the day had been.

You looked up from the sidewalk, spotting an oddly blue colored light in the alleyway. It seemed like a stupid thing to do to approach a random alley... but of course, against your better judgement- you approached it.

The blue light was being emitted from behind a garbage can. The alley reeked of dumpsters and rodents. Your nose scrunched in distaste as you peeked behind the trashcan.

All distain for your environment seemed to fade away as you looked upon a glowing blue crystal ball on the ground. Wisps of magic flowed within it, and it let out a soft, ethereal hum.

Your eyes reluctantly left the blue orb as you saw a note beside it. The writing was messy and scrambled, as if someone had written it in a frantic rush. It read:

"If you've found this, it is because I've disgarded it. This is the Multiversal Orb. But be warned... Too much heartbreak and chaos follows with crossing the bounds of the many universes there are out there. I've gone to live permanently in another world...a reality of my own desires. This orb can take you anywhere and bring anyone to you... use it wisely."

You couldn't help the scoff that escaped you. What a lame prank... right?
