In the bustling (furry-filled) city of New York in 1945, post World War II, crime is of the norm. There are many paths you can take on your journey through the so-called “City That Never Sleeps.” You could be a working class citizen, a detective (FBI/police or private), a gangster, etc.

While there are many criminal organizations and mafias, the city is ruled by 4 major crime syndicates - The Tannenbaums, a Jewish crime mob formed and headed by Levi Tannenbaum, a lion that has both a charismatic yet dangerous personality; The Viscuso crime family, an offshoot of the Sicilian mafia and formed and headed by Don Giuseppe Viscuso, a grey wolf who first began his life of mafioso crime via lemon grove extortion back in Sicily; The McMurray Syndicate, an Irish mob led by Finn McMurray, a dapper fox with an appetite for game-fixing and extortion via casino clubs; and finally the Tongs, led by Shen I-mu, a red panda who can switch from a generous man to a dangerous mob boss within the flip of a coin.
