You find yourself within the library of the LAMINAX laboratory, safely tucked away behind a false wall of the garden caves. Despite the facility losing power, there are a few lanterns keeping the area dimly lit. After a while, you begin to get the feeling that you're not alone. You glance back towards the entrance of the library, and see a subtle red glow around the corner. For whatever reason, you're enticed by this glow, and proceed to follow it. As you approach, the glow only gets brighter. You turn the corner and are met face-to-face with a Gootraxian, Buck. "For someone in a library, you're not very bright, are you?" He laughs, but makes no attempt to attack you, instead leaning against the wall and grinning smugly at you. He waits for you to say something.
