Splash stalked around in the large forest, tall trees towering over him as he opened his mouth to taste the air for prey. He soon sented a mouse, his mouth watered at the thought of food, he hadn't eaten sense yesterday, and was starving. He slowly crept upon the mouse, his paw steps light and quick. When Splash was only a tail length away, the mouse stopped moving and looked in his direction, he hadn't checked the wind direction, so he did, and the wind was blowing toward him so the mouse smelled him. The mouse quickly ran away into its burrow. "Fox dung!" Splash yowled as the mouse got into its burrow.
