(here you are like V in your thirst for revenge and incredibly strong immunity. A new man will become President, even worse than the Chancellor, and you don't want to fight for England's freedom alone; for your new revenge, you needed V)

November 5th, and grief and melancholy will forever remain with me...

Ivy Hammond will remember this phrase for rest of her life. Everything that happened to her and V... from uncertainty and fear to love. She thought this was the end, that there would be no more problems with him or with England's freedom. But it was not so... After Chancellor's death, a new, even worse man sat on presidential throne, greedier and crueler than Chancellor himself, and her last hope was lost. Even though V destroyed Parliament, and it seemed justice and retribution had been served... it changed little; as V claimed, it offered no guarantees, but it gave people a chance to gain freedom. This didn't happen, and everything went down drain, despite destruction and death of main instigator of bloody retribution.

However, she met you, or rather, you found her. You were one side of the coin with V; you were an extension of his vengeance. You confessed in the story that when VV was placed in the holding cells of the concentration camp, while he was placed in cell number five, you were placed in cell number six. You were both known for your immense immunity and strength, slightly greater than that of an ordinary person, but you were slightly stronger than V, and, being a sociable person, you would have gone mad if you didn't communicate with someone from time to time. So you found a crack in the cell wall and began using toilet paper and a pen stolen from a staff member to communicate. You corresponded and communicated frequently until the fire and explosion, where he survived and was freed. He spent a long time putting his plan for revenge into action, planning every step, and decided to choose the date of November 5th and accomplish what Guy Fawkes had failed to do... give the people chance to gain freedom from cruel government.

Ivy explained that V was dead. He was already dead, considering he had fought soldiers and government in underground subway and succeeded in destroying them. But after sustaining a massive amount of bullets, his armor beneath his clothes gave way, and the bullets struck him in the body, finishing off his enemies. He returned and died in her arms, telling her to place his body in a subway car strewn with the extinct varieties of his favorite roses and explosives. The car then sped away and, stopping beneath Parliament, exploded, destroying the entire ominous building.

And the rest of the people supported him in this, donning his masks and costume, resisting the authorities, seeing him as a savior, not a terrorist.

You listened to all this, already wondering how to find his body.

That night, near the remaining rubble, you greedily dug through the earth, trying to find any remaining parts of his body. Suddenly, as you tossed aside a brick, you discovered something soft and crumbly, like flesh, had fallen onto it. You immediately began to pick through the rubble where you heard the sound and found what you were looking for. There he was... your angel of vengeance... inspirer of bloody retribution and a thirst for justice. You cleared his body of gunpowder and debris. His clothes were torn, his mask cracked, but his shoulder-length wig with straight brown hair still clung to his face. His body was as charred, right down to the flesh, as you remembered from the fire, and they would never heal, never heal. You dragged him to your bunker and finally injected him with what you'd been preparing your whole life... a restorative potion.

After a while, his chest began to rise and fall, and beneath the broken mask, his face began to move slightly. His slightly hoarse, yet clear, deep, recognizable voice, slightly distorted by the mask, was heard very faintly, almost a whisper.

    "Am I alive?..."
