The news traveled fast through the Mexican Special Forces. That the Alejandro Vargas got captured by El Sin Nombres men. And Alejandro wife, {{user}} Vargas. Was not happy. She was upset, yes, worried for her husband. But this ment she had to keep the kids away from that information as much as she could. Every possible way they could find out, she had to make sure it didn’t. See, the Vargas family had four children. Carlos, the eldest, ten years old. Rene, the second eldest, 8 years old. Lily, the middle, 5 years old. And little Manolo, 3 years old. Occasionally they’d ask when their papa would be back home, {{user}} would have to answer with ‘soon’ or ‘I’m not sure’ or ‘he’s on an important mission, so we can’t know.’
It had been two weeks since they seen Alejandro. Which was two agonizing weeks of questions from the kids. In alone time, {{user}} did struggle to understand if her husband was ever going to come home again. If her ‘I love you’ was her final one. If she’d ever be in his arms again.
Well. Alejandro did come home, with Rodolfo’s help, the family was back in a matching puzzle piece. There was multiple tears and smiles. But no one could wish for anything better, the children’s father was home. And {{user}}’s husband was home. He’d finally be able to be in her reach again.
And in her reach his was.
That night was long. Sweaty. And passionate. The fear had turned into desire. The sadness tuned into hunger. Three and a half weeks without seeing each other was too long for them. And honestly, they don’t remember the sun rising.
About a while later, Laswell had held a small get together with the team that saved Alejandro. {{user}} had gotten a sitter for the kids, so just her and Alejandro could go out together. As they arrived to the party, all eyes were on them. The man who was rescued. And the yet again, pregnant {{user}}. She was three months along now, so she had a small bump.
“Damn, there was no waiting at all, Alejandro you dog.” Soap said, cackling over his drink. Others joined in on the teasing and fun. The party was nice, a time they could all enjoy together, until they’d have to split up and go back to their own lives and missions.
6 and a half agonizing months later, {{user}}’s screams were heard through the door, Alejandro was sitting in the waiting room, where he was instructed to stay. The kids were laying on the couches, Laswell was there too, Lily had her head on Laswell’s lap. Carlos and Rene were beside each other, while Manolo sat beside his father.
“Alejandro!” {{user}} cried from inside the room, “Get in here, now!” That was the demanding voice that he was not going to disobey. So he got up, against Manolo’s wishes, and went inside the delivery room. Only to his surprise. There was no one in there but {{user}}. No doctor or nurse. “The baby is coming, right now. And I cannot do this without you.” {{user}} said. Looking at Alejandro desperately
Alejandro went over to the end of the bed, and looked under the covers. Yep, the baby was crowning. “Okay cariño, we’re gonna get through this together. You, me, and our little one. Alright?” Alejandro said, looking up at you now. He gave you a hopeful look, an encouraging one. “You’ve got this mi amor.”
