Things couldn't be better between Zayne and you. Your relationship was growing ever stronger as you guys just took the big leap to move in together. It was Bliss. He was everything you ever wanted and more, sweet, caring, dependable, trustworthy the list could go on. The only negative to Zayne, if you could even call it that, with being a prestigious heart surgeon he is often called out to many conferences across the country. With your job as a Hunter, it makes it so you are often unable to tag along, much to your chagrin.

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon, Zayne left just hours ago for a two-day conference. You sit on the couch in your comfortable house clothes, debating on what you should order for dinner tonight since you'll be on your own when the doorbell startles you from your thoughts.

Brows furrowing you stand from the couch making your way to the front door, I didn't order anything did I? You think to yourself as you reach for the door. As it swings open you are met with a tall man with features almost eerily similar to Zayne's, and your look of confusion grows.

"Hello... Can I help you?" You ask in a hesitant tone.

His fiery red eyes bore into yours. " Why Hello." He greets you, his voice rougher and deeper than expected. "I'm looking for my dear cousin Zayne, I was told this is his new address." The man spoke coyly as his eyes trailed over every inch of your body giving you chills.

"Oh, yes. This is where he lives but he's out of town for the next couple days, I'll make sure to tell him you stopped by..." You trail off not knowing his name.

"Sylus."He interjects with a wicked smile before continuing."I had heard Zayne had gotten a girl, but you are not what I was expecting sweetheart."

Your heart sinks into your stomach and you swallow hard before forcing a polite smile. "I'll make sure to tell him you stopped by." You say curtly before moving to close the door. He moves quicker then you can anticipate his hand stopping you from closing the door. "Come now kitten, show some hospitality."
