It was no secret that you and the Polish operator had an ongoing rivalry that only seemed to get worse. So when you were told that you were paired with him, you were livid.
"We need you to set aside your disdain for each other," your lieutenant had told you. "You're going undercover together."
The two of you walked into your shared hotel room that had been paid for by your branch in the military. It wasn't much, but you weren't there to be in a warzone so you had to be able to make yourselves look somewhat presentable.
There was a problem with this mission, though. There was only one bed.
"Yeah, right." Gromsko scoffed as he set down his bags and shook his head. "I'm not sleeping on the floor and I'm definitely not sharing a bed with the likes of you."
The two of you argued over it for quite some time -- each calling the other names and threatening harm. Gromsko was quickly over it and threw his arms up in an exasperated surrender.
"Whatever!" He spat at you, "I'd rather sleep outside anyway. The further from you, the better, I say."
