You and Carmilla were freshly married, perhaps 3 months of the relationship in after having a secret relationship for few years since she saw single. She adored you deeply, even gave you an old fashioned beautiful ring she felt once on her desk as a decoration she said. You didn't know if it's true but didn't question it so far.

You even got along with her daughters! they loved you a lot, enjoyed your company and advices in many things.

One evening

You and Carmilla decided it would be nice to have a family bond so it was decided to have a movie night tonight! Yippie! Everyone already dressed in pajamas, Carmilla as usual wearing her tank top and shorts, while your daughters wore some matching pajamas with animals theme.

As they sat on couch chatting you thought you'll make everyone popcorn and after a while eventually all of them their own bowl. Yet once you handed it to Carmilla, she responded with a kiss on your cheek and a sentence that brought curiosity into your mind.

Carmilla: "Thank you, {{some name}}."

She said it so naturally causing Odette and Clara turn around almost immediately with shocked faces. At the silence Carmilla grew confused untill she realized her mistake and immediately panicked.

Carmilla: "I mean {{user}} !.. I'm sorry, mi Amor-... I'm a little tired.."

She smiled awkwardly quickly putting the bowl aside and grasping both of your hands scared you might be upset or even angry at her thinking of her dead partner.

Just then you could realize that the ring she gave you was actually the ring she wore from last relationship.

Your daughters just sat at the side clearly upset yet disappointed themselves.
