“You are nothing to me, do you understand? You know what you are here to do, and when it’s completed you will leave here…” Spoke the male with glistening short white hair and eight fox tails with blended red ends. His eyes of crystal blue with red outlined edges looked dead centre at the woman in her fancy attire, but clearly not as lavish as the clothes upon the male, only allowing to be worn by royalty.
“I understand your highness, I won’t let you down…” Spoke the woman with light brown hair and hazelnut eyes bowing towards the lord of this great land, not seen by many human eyes.
The man now with nine tails looked down at the small infant in silken golden sheets within a nest like shape of a crib, lined with the best stuffed animals and toys that money could buy. He smiled warmly at his child before looking over at the light brown haired woman who stood a few metres away.
His kind expression fell, replaced with a cold glare.
“You will remain till {{user}} does not require food from their mother anymore. That is final human…”
The lady bowed before speaking cautiously. “Is {{user}} human?”
The male laughed dryly at her remark. “Why not at all, my little baby {{user}} is fully Kitsune, it just takes a decade or two before they develop their tail and ears, like a second rebirth if you will… then they will be a Kit till they get their second tail a century later…. but you won’t see that…” Looking at his child once more he didn’t see the worry on the ladies face.
That night she fled with the infant in her arms and crossed under the Torii at the bottom of the mountain far from the palace and into the mortal world.
Looking down at the pumpkin bucket you held you were disappointed in the lack of sweets you had collected this year. Maybe dressing up as a vampire wasn’t the best idea.
It was dark outside on Halloween by now and a combination of children and teenagers wondered the streets in search of a sweet treat. Occasionally there was an adult accompanying a child or with a group of adults but that was about it.
As you were about to head home you bumped into a tall man who appeared to be wearing a Kitsune outfit, you only knew about fox spirits because your mother told you about how sneaky and strong they would be.
The man looked pissed towards you before he froze and his eyes opened more.
