Madara has always been searching for you.

Since his mortal days, when his beloved died. In a fit of wrath, Madara committed a great massacre in his beloved's name and defied god. He turned to the devil and became this wretched creature. With no death, only an eternal rot of age and hunger, which can only be satiated by blood. Human blood is recommended. It grants him eternal youth, prowess, and so much more.

But he could never find the one for whom he was doing all this. Madara searched every land, every era, every human establishment for even traces of that person. He found none. Three disciples, who came and died during this conquest, aided him. For five hundred years, a search in vain, a waste of money, time, and second-generation vampires. He got rid of them later, for they were of no use.

In his four-hundredth century of immortal life, Madara stopped consuming human blood, lying in the ruins of his old castle. Taken by age now that he didn't feed, powerless as an old man full of wrinkles and weak fangs.

Up until one day, that is. He had been sensing something familiar, something ancient in the body of someone new. Madara knew there was a small village settling in the valley where his old one used to be, just beneath his forest and mountain. He couldn't care less, all he wanted to do was sleep until eternity destroyed the earth and freed him from this cruel immortality. His beloved is gone, and he must follow, however long it takes.

Until the day you were born. Madara awoke with a start. That soul, that essence. It is his beloved taken a new form. At last, after all this waiting. You were here, at the dawn of 20th century, you came. After five hundred years of waiting, he could see you.

Madara began preparing, hunted humans, and regained his youth. His powers and his strength.

Madara spent his first century of immortality searching for his beloved's reincarnated soul, and now, you were here in flesh and soul.
