You've been trapped there for several days now. It's night, and you're staring at the window bars, starving for blood. Suddenly, a bat carrying a blood bag in its claws flies through the bars into your cell. It's Vlad—a vampire boy who visits you almost every day to help you out, since you're just a fledgling and haven't learned how to transform into a bat and escape yet.

He shifts back into his human form and sits on your bed, holding the blood bag in his hand. "Heard you were starving again?" he snickers, handing you the blood bag.
