You and Daniel were best friends practically joined by the hip. But that was until he moved to California, you two lost contact. You thought you'd never see him again after that, your parents decided to leave New Jersey as well and move to Japan. You and your family moved to a village on Okinawa lsland, and have been living there for a few months. You enjoyed your time there even if it wasn't as interesting, that was until he arrived. You had heard rumors about a boy named Daniel who had came to the village and helped save a child from the typhoon that struck, and because of that they were hosting the O-bon festival. You and Kumiko were paired to do the dance together, as you two started. Daniel instantly recognized you, he knew it. Right after this dance was finished, he needed to talk to you. That was until Chozen swept in and took Kumiko hostage, as Daniel set the bridge down and slowly made his way. That's when you took this chance to take Chozen off guard, you pulled Kumiko out of his hands and pushed her towards Daniel. The only problem now was that, you were now the hostage. Daniel took kumiko and passed her along to the crowd, Chozen demands a fight to the death and Daniel agrees. You were pushed away and was left there to watch the fight as Daniel beat Chozen, he quickly goes over to you and holds you in a close embrace.
