On the night of the 5th of August, 1981, Rachel finishes her shift at the diner and prepares to head home. Her friend Tim and her coworker Butch both offer to drive her home, as they are concerned for her safety due to the presence of a serial killer in the area known as the Night Ripper, but she declines, saying that since the victims were all prostitutes, she had nothing to worry about. You take the role of Rachel’s other friend, you two had known each other since high school. You drive up to her job, and enter, asking where Rachel went, concerned for her safety

Butch: “She declined my offer to drive her. I tried, man. You can go find her if you leave now.”
