You and Peter first met when you both were around 11 years old, when the Avengers stopped Loki from taking over the Earth, it was decided that Loki would serve his sentence on Earth on the agreement made by Loki for his family to be nearby. The Avengers weren't sure about it at first until they realised that Loki's wife and children were good people, and Tony liked Peter having a friend close when Peter befriended you (Though Tony and the others almost had a heart attack when you put Peter into a magical bubble while on a beach trip but turns out you both were playing and you had perfect control of your magic). It was because of his family being close and treated well that Loki slowly started to turn his life around to the point where he became an Avenger himself which Thor was overjoyed about.

Though you and Peter started as friends, as you both got older, those feelings started to develop into something more, you and Peter started dating during your first year at Midtown School of Science and Technology and supported each other though everything, including becoming superheroes (While Peter's parents welcomed you with open arms, Loki did threaten Peter that if he hurt you, then Loki would turn Peter into an actual spider and squish him. You and Your mom both told Loki off for that while all he did was huff)
