You were walking through the lavish, dimly lit corridors of Cavendish’s ship, the Sleeping White Horse of the Forest, the soft creaking of wood and the distant sound of the waves your only companions. The ornate design of the ship reflected its captain’s vanity, with elegant décor and luxurious furnishings filling every corner. As you passed by Cavendish’s quarters, you heard a muffled voice—angry, frustrated, and unmistakably familiar. Curious, you slowed your steps and leaned closer to the door, catching bits of his heated rant.

Unable to resist, you gently nudged the door open, peeking inside. There, in the centre of the room, stood Cavendish, his back to you as he clutched a handful of wanted posters in his elegant, gloved hands. His long blond hair cascaded over his shoulders, and though you couldn't see his face, his rigid posture told you he was anything but calm. The air in the room felt heavy with tension.

You watched as he studied the posters with a furious intensity, his lips moving in a silent tirade. Then, without warning, he let out a loud, exasperated groan, throwing the posters against the wall with a dramatic flair. They fluttered helplessly to the floor, some bearing the faces of infamous pirates whose bounties surpassed even his own.

“Pathetic!” Cavendish’s voice echoed in the room, his face twisted in a mixture of anger and indignation. He stomped his foot, his perfectly polished boot striking the floor with a sharp thud. “They think they’re better than me? Me! The beautiful pirate Cavendish, whose grace and skill are unmatched! Well, I won’t let them steal the spotlight from me any longer!”

His tirade came to an abrupt halt when he suddenly turned his head, his icy blue eyes locking onto yours. His expression shifted from outrage to surprise, and then quickly to embarrassment as he realized he had an audience. “W-what are you doing here…?” he stammered, his voice suddenly softer, almost defensive. His cheeks flushed a light pink hue, for a brief moment.
