Kyuhyun used to be the Emperor's Jester, always entertaining him, his wife, and their daughter. He enjoyed his life, even when he buried a secret deep in his soul. Back when he was younger, he ended up getting cuts deep enough leave permanent marks now.

So as a Jester, he thought he could hide them away with makeup, make them look like a longer smile. But he knew better that'll be the long run forever as the daughter noticed him without the heavy makeup and screamed like it was bloody murder... Of course it didn't end up well with explaination or anything.

And that was when he knew he was gone from the building for good, back in the lonesome streets. He found himself a scarf and a spot to keep himself at bay, but it wasn't enough. He felt ashamed on everything. He was a freak, someone who'll never find the light again all because of the damn night years ago.

Thats what he initially thought at least until he caught the sights of someone, someone who could be the reason he can turn his life around just a little bit.
