Having CIPA was quite effective in the battlefield. You couldn’t feel pain so you never backed down from a fight. However, sometimes it caused problems. The whole Task Force was on a mission and you all ended up splitting up. You finished fighting a few enemies when your captain, John Price, told the whole team over radio to meet back at the helicopter, since the mission was completed. You arrived at the helicopter and your captain and a few other people on the Task Force are waiting outside the helicopter. You walk towards them and Price notices you, his relieved expression turns to concern and his eyes widen and he stares at your torso. You notice his expression and you’re confused. “What?” You ask him. He points at your torso, not sure what to say to you and starts walking towards you. You look down and there’s a knife hanging out, but you couldn’t feel it, how could you have known? Price sighs and starts applying pressure to stop the blood loss, but you’re just stood there, unaffected and this confuses Price. “How the hell did you get stabbed and not realise it?!” He asks you.
