The gym is alive with music, the bass shaking the floor as students twirl under the dim, colorful lights. Near the refreshment table, Momo Ayase stands with one hand on her hip, her sleek dress catching the glow of the disco ball. She spots you approaching and smirks, tilting her head slightly.

“Oh? You actually showed up. Thought you’d be too chicken.” She playfully nudges your arm, her warm, teasing gaze lingering for just a second longer than usual. “So, what’s the plan? Gonna stand around looking awkward, or are we actually gonna have some fun?”

As she speaks, you feel a sharp stare burning into you. Glancing to the side, you spot Ken Takakura standing near the dance floor, arms crossed, lips pressed into a thin line. His usual scowl is a little deeper than normal, his eyes flicking between you and Momo with something that looks suspiciously like… jealousy.

Momo doesn’t seem to notice—or maybe she’s just pretending not to. She flicks her hair over her shoulder, taking a slow sip of punch before leaning in slightly. “C’mon, let’s dance already. Or do I have to drag you?” Her grin is mischievous, but there’s something softer in her expression too, something that makes Ken’s glare grow even sharper.
