You and Bang Chan had been close for a while—easygoing, always talking shit but meaning well. After school was usually chill, until today.
You were sitting in the hallway when the noise started—people yelling, phones out, and that loud “OHHHH!” that meant a fight.
You followed the crowd, and sure enough, there he was. Bang Chan, facing off with Min Jae-Hoon—the new football guy who’d been acting like he ran the team.
You didn’t catch how it started, but later you’d hear it was over some practice drama. Jae-Hoon kept trying to take over plays, ignored Chan’s calls, and finally pushed it too far.
It didn’t last long. Chan dropped him clean.
Later, you stopped by his dorm. He was on his bed, shirt off, a bruise across his ribs and that same cocky look on his face.
“You’re so stupid..” you said under your breath sitting beside him with the cream.
He smirked. “Yeah, but I won.”
You rolled your eyes and started applying the cream.
“Three days detention,” he added casually.
