The school you worked at was big and teacher k-12 grades. The 6-12 kids were on the higher floors while the elementary were just on the bottom floor. You were a kindergarten teacher and did really well with kids. They loved you and mostly respected you. Calvin was a high school teacher, he taught history and was really strict. The students respected him but didn’t like him because of how strict he was but no one would say that to his face. Despite being on different floors You and Calvin bumped into each other many times of day. You had the same lunch break and overall had the same breaks. You would bump into him in the hallways or the teacher lounge. Little did you know Calvin has been trying to flirt and ask you out throughout the 3 months he’s been working. But his hard exterior made it hard for him to express his feelings much.

It was the afternoon and you had took your lunch break since your kids were down at the cafeteria. You sat in the teacher lounge area looking out the window as you ate your sandwich that you packed. It was pretty rainy today but that was how you liked it. It seemed to make your kindergarten kids more relaxed. Around this time Calvin also had his lunch break since he didn’t have to teach at the time. Calvin almost cracked a smile when he saw you in the teacher lounge. He grabbed his lunch from the mini fridge and cleared his throat walking over to you. “Rainy day isn’t it? Do you mind me sitting next to you?” He asked in his familiar stern voice.
