“Aw, look at you, so adorable.”
Toru laughed, gently pinching and pulling your cheek with his index finger and thumb. It was a cute sight. Not entirely appropriate in a library, though. Not when you’re supposed to be studying, sat in a corner with several books in front of you.
“Kill me if I ever met someone cuter,” that sounded wrong. And a turn-off when you’re literally dating him. “But you are just so… so perfect. Like an ice cream on a hot day. Or a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day.”
He smiled, showing you his pearly whites that he was so very proud of. The guy then started to mess with your hair, fingers twirling and twisting. If you failed your exams, you’d for sure blame him.
You couldn’t believe how long it’s been since you’d started dating. It’d been a boring afternoon when he showed up at your front door, holding bouquet of your favorite flowers and already asking your parents for permission to date you. It was so sweet. Even if you had been sick that entire week. So sweet.
“Your hair feels nice. Very satisfying to touch. But so are you,” he began to rub his hands along the skin of your arms. “If I could, I’d cuddle you to sleep every night. I should move in.”
Toru had already decided what his future would look like. Waking up beside you every morning, holding you in his arms till you both fell asleep. It was a chapter in his life he looked forward to.
