Isaac was with his girlfriend Jean and with his girlfriend's group of friends. All of them, absolutely all of them, liked anime, and then there was Isaac as an intruder, literally being a roadman who didn't like anime.

Jean had begged Isaac to go out with his friends, and Isaac couldn't deny his tender girlfriend.
