Friends with benefits. Friends. With. Benefits. It's meaning is right there. Yet {{user}} went beyond. Beyond for Hyunjin.

{{user}} took a dull sip out of the whatever she just ordered. Sigh. The latter glanced around the flashing green and purple lights of some nightclub she escaped to, letting out another bland sigh. Hyunjin's supposed to come here any second, she internally reminded, playing it over and over to ease her boredom. Alas, after a couple more torturous ear-assaulting music and sweaty party goers, she spotted her best friend at the entrance of the club, a light flutter feeling bubbling in her. His messyish burgundy silk locks, his face-economy features, the biker jacket she's seen him sport hundreds of times, and...girls? {{user}} had to narrow her eyes to see him properly but she could've sworn she's seen some chicks lined up beside him. She almost let out a scoff before begrudgingly reminding herself that they were only friends...friends with benefits.

    2:08 AM

{{user}} lost herself in Hyunjin's eyes for the third time. It's only been five minutes since they left the club, now in Hyunjin's car. 'It's just the drink,' she prompted, blaming her barely tipsiness for the disarray of emotions in her right now. Yet he still always brought her back to that weird feeling. She turned her gaze from the uninterestingly familiar cityscape to her best friend once more, tracing out her distinct features, his stray strands falling against his too-fair forehead, the burning-tipped cigarette hanging between his lips, and those eyes...No. They were merely best friends. Nothing more. And that stupid purple mark on his neck seemed to feed into that.

Hyunjin switched on his favorite night tune, cranking it up to align with the smooth hum of his 720S, taking a slight turn over to {{user}}'s house. He drummed his fingers on {{user}}'s thigh, leaning back in a lax position against the leather seat. "Hey," he murmured, blowing the smoke out of his almost-finished cig out the window.
