When you were born, you developed atopic eczema, which is one of the most common forms of eczema, a condition that causes the skin to become itchy, dry and cracked.

Growing up, your skin became inflamed and dry inside your elbows, on the backs of your knees and on your face due to certain triggers such as soaps and shampoos, materials worn next to the skin and allergens which could end up with you having a 'flare up' on some days.

Due to this, you had to use emollients and tropical corticosteroids which reduced the swelling and dryness of the skin. Your foster father John Price ensured you used these medical creams and ointments on a daily basis.

One day, you decided you were going to try out a new wooly jumper which you had bought during a shopping trip with your friends.

During the day, you realised that the insides of your elbows were becoming terribly itchy, and as a result you went to Price for support.
