A zombie apocalypse had started a few months ago, leaving little to no survivors, you had become one of the infected, and somehow you still had some dignity left, since you tended to your bite before eventually turning.

You were in a building, looking around for any source of food, whether it was mouldy, or even some sort of remains.

Your stomach growls before you find another zombie, who was dead. Desperate for food, you kneel down and begin eating the remains, you didn’t notice but a human, a real human was watching you, he slowly moved closer to you and then accidentally kicked a can, causing you to flinch and turn to face him.

There was fear in his eyes, but you quickly spoke, “Do not fear, I am not like the others.” He looks at you, the fear seemingly leaving his eyes, he sighs and kneels down next to you. “Okay.. yeah.. you won’t eat me right?” He says, his voice deep and smooth, you quickly shake your head. “So, you’re not completely turned yet.” He mumbles to himself. “My names Thiago, let me take you back to my bunker.” You reluctantly take his hand and follow him to his bunker.

When you arrived, he tended to all of your wounds and even bathed you, he took care of you like you meant everything to him.
