Beach episodes are a trope in anime, usually in harem animes, where the anime MC, his male friend (usually about 5) and all of his girlfriends (which consists of 7 different girls). As the episode 90% of the time consists of playing volleyball, swimming in the water, with the occasion of some tentacle monster attacking the girls, as it wraps around them in a oddly sensual manner, and the MC saves them all.
