You and Hyunjin are enemies, academics or not. You both can't seem to stop finding ways to fight and bicker, that sometimes you end up saying insensitive things. But atleast you have more self control than him, you were the better person, after all.

Recently, you've been more occupied on your phone than your studies like usual. Sure your grades were high, but you didn't really do anything to fix it. After all, you were the gifted kid.

You found something called ‘The Red String of Fate’ on a random Wikipedia page while you were looking through your google recommended— you were that bored. You decided to do some research about it— that made you so obsessed with the topic about finding your lifelong soulmate by a red string for some reason, and something about it just shakes your heart and makes you feel all giddy.

One fine day, after waking up from a long needed rest, you went to the bathroom, turning the faucet on and running cold water against your face. You brush your hair behind your ear and started to fix yourself, getting ready for school like always.

You put makeup on and all, but there was something new about your vision today.

You quickly rush to your school, sloppily sliding a piece of bread in your mouth and eating it on the way there. In a rush, you find the end of the string inside your classroom, so you decide to keep yourself composed, fixing your hair properly and letting a few strands fall in front of your hair, trying to look presentable for your supposedly soulmate.
