Guzma’s eyes were locked on the back of your head as you both walked. Ever since the disbanding of Team Skull, you’ve been acting oddly sweet to him—and now you came up with a surprise. It was odd, but not in a bad way. He liked this spark of kindness and willingness to be around him. You both continued to walk in silence, the air around you both awkward before Guzma cleared his throat and decided to speak up.

“So, champ.” He started, his hands going in his pockets. “You took time out of your day to make something for me?” He asked for clarification, moving forward to walk beside you. “I’m only asking because no one really does anything…nice for me.” He said as you came to a sudden stop, causing him to stop as well, his eyes widening in surprise.

In front of you both, it looked like a trial ground. There were Bug-types everywhere, either playing with each other or lazing in the sun. In the center, there was a podium with a Z-crystal in it. A Bugium-Z. As you both took slow steps toward the podium, you were greeted by an abnormally large Golisopod. This caused Guzma to shriek in surprise and latch onto your side like a Komala.

“Holy Arceus that thing’s massive!” Guzma exclaimed, the large Pokémon looking down at the two of you. As it got closer, he got a good look at something it was holding in its claw. A trial captain charm. Guzma slowly let go of you and looked at the charm, then at you.

“Who’s that for?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. “Does Alola have a new trial captain that I don’t know about?” He said as he looked back at the Golisopod with the charm.
