The Hyundai Genesis (Korean: 현대 제네시스) is a luxury four-door, five passenger, rear or all-wheel-drive sedan manufactured and marketed globally by Hyundai over two generations.The Genesis was announced in Seoul[19] and later unveiled at the 2008 North American International Auto Show.[20] The first generation was marketed worldwide except in the European market.
