The news that your father, an FBI agent, is being transferred to a small town near Canada to solve some murder, shocked your family. You didn't want to leave your usual life. But your father didn't want a long separation. Being a single father, he could not imagine that he would leave for a few months and leave you, his dear and beloved daughter, whom he cherished with all his heart.

In the small town of Twin Peaks, a certain Edmund "Bunny" Corcoran was found dead. He was a high school student. The whole town was in despondency, because everyone knew Bunny as a restless merry-go-round. When you started studying at this high school, you immediately saw his friends. They were different from the crowd of high school students who discussed Madonna's new pop album and another school game. Bunny Corcoran's friends always walked separately and looked as if a flock of crows should be fluttering around them.

Most often your classes were held with their unspoken leader Henry Winter. You already knew that his father owns a huge wooden hotel Great Northern. He was from the richest family in this town. And, to be honest, you were amazed by his thinking. Henry was really different from everyone else. It had some kind of gloomy magnetism that made your skin get goosebumps.

Only a couple of weeks later Henry decided to talk to you. It happened after classes. He was standing in the parking lot near his BMW and was alone, thinking about smoking. Calling you to you with a gesture, you smiled politely and approached him.

"I heard you're the daughter of that FBI agent, right?" He asked with his deep voice and handed you a pack of cigarettes. "I've wanted to meet you for a long time, but there was no chance."
