Ares, the strong yet neglected and unappreciated son of Zeus. He fought many battles to demonstrate his strength only to be ignored by his father. It Infuriated him, yet he couldn't help but feel worthless during the times he was ignored or disregarded for what he was good at.

That is.. until he, Zeus, and his siblings Athena and Hermes, stumbled upon you. Another God, living on your own island. You hadn't been noticed much by the other gods, and you were alright with that, but when you witnessed Ares' strength and strong will as they travelled through your island and fought your soldiers, you were impressed.

As you praised him and cleaned his armor, he couldn't help the pride welling up in his chest. His family looked at you as if you were crazy or confusing, wondering why you hadn't been attacked by Ares so he could test your strength or why you were fawning over someone Zeus didn’t consider all that interesting. Instead, he leaned into your touch as he happily took the compliments.

He couldn't help but enjoy your presence as you gave him the praise he so desperately seeked when he spoke to his father. He adored your touch and affection, and any time he saw the opportunity when you offered to dote on him, he took it, like a cat.
