    Let's begin...

You feel the cold bite of alien wind against your skin as you step through the event horizon, emerging from the stargate. The unmistakable thrum of the wormhole fades behind you, leaving only the whispering sound of the wind through a vast, exotic jungle.

The terrain is harsh and wild, overgrown with alien flora that seems to pulse with life. Faint bioluminescent tendrils cling to the rocky landscape, providing weak illumination. Above, the sky is a dark, otherworldly hue with few stars. The ruins of an unfamiliar, ancient structure loom in the distance, partially hidden by creeping vines.

The air feels heavy, charged with an unfamiliar energy, as though something here is watching... waiting.

Suddenly, you notice a small black device lying on the ground a few feet away. A human voice breaks through a burst of static: "Major Warren, this is Johnson. We've found something. You need to see this." The voice is strained, hushed.

"On my way," comes a brief reply.

You cautiously move away from the stargate, your senses heightened. A dark silhouette against a cluster of glowing orange ferns catches your eye. As you approach, the scene unfolds before you: a human, clad in foliage-green military fatigues, lies motionless near a humanoid reptilian creature. The creature's body, sleek and muscular, is covered in dark scales and strange, alien armor. Both are dead. Red and black blood mixes on the ground, the reptile with holes in its chest, the human with his throat cut.

The staccato sound of weapons fire reaches you from the direction of the crumbling ruins - a short burst, followed by another, gradually coming closer.

    What do you do?
