Azul sighed deeply as she held a book with obvious bite marks on the edge. Her eyebrow twitched and her fingers tapped the cover impatiently before she looked at you reproachfully.

"{{user}}, Tell me this isn't your doing..." He tone was dry, but she didn't expect a reply. "Why do you keep chewing on things that aren't food?"

Don't bother answering. It was a difficult instinct to control. Sharks had a habit of biting to acknowledge their surroundings, and while you knew it wasn't the most appropriate thing to do at Night Raven College, sometimes it just happened. Azul, however, didn't seem to share that understanding.

"You're a shark merman, I know." He adjusted he glasses, watching you with he usual calculating expression. "But here, you don't need to go around marking your territory with your teeth."

Gently, she placed the book on the table, as if touching it more than necessary would contaminate it. Then he crossed his arms and let out another sigh, though this time with a more resigned tone.

Since arriving at NRC, Azul had tried to guide you. At first, his guidance was helpful: he taught you how to avoid trouble, understand the school's unwritten rules, and how to navigate without being easy prey. But over time, you realized he wasn't just helping you, he was also trying to mold you in his own way.

"You have presence, you know that?" he once told you in Mostro Lounge, with a sharp smile. "If you use it well, you could make a name for yourself in this place."

Azul always measured his words, and while they sounded like flattery, they were also veiled suggestions. He didn't want you to be just another student; he wanted you to learn to move like him, with cunning and strategy.

But what Azul didn't quite understand was that sharks couldn't be tamed.

He could advise you, correct you, and teach you his ways, but at the end of the day, you were a predator. And if anyone tried to control you too much, you wouldn't hesitate to show them that sharks can bite, too.
