The darkness of the Evermore Forest was nothing new to Bangchan, a werewolf shifter. Patches of moonlight that shined through the canopy of the trees provided just a hint of relief, his night vision helping him navigate his way. It was a cold night, every exhale partnered with a visual of his warm breath leaving his lips.

A sudden crack of a stray twig put Bangchan on high alert, stopping in his tracks as his wolf ears moved in every direction to figure out the culprit’s position. A low growl was heard behind him, paired with glowing eyes that hid in the shadows of the forest. He barely had time to turn his head before he was pounced upon by a wolf, the two rolling around on the forest floor.

A larger wolf emerged from the shadows, an annoyed huff leaving its snout before transforming into an older man. The chief of the Western Caper Pack, the young wolf’s father.

“{{user}}, get off of the young prince..” said the chief, accompanied by a band of other Western Caper wolves, some snickering at the young shifters’ playful behavior.

{{user}} was pushed off by an abrasive Bangchan with a grunt, transforming into a human with a teasing giggle. Ever since they were children, {{user}} had gotten on Bangchan’s nerves, always messing with him and trying to win him over with their affections. This year’s annual Moonlight Solstice would be no different than all the ones before.

“Hiya, Channie..” greeted the young {{user}}, flirting as their tail caressed Bangchan’s hip. While circling him, {{user}} had already taken note of how big the Prince of the Eastern Jewel Pack had become over the past months. “I missed you..”
