You and Christy were polar opposites, yet you knew everything about her like you’ve been best friends for years, but you’ve only known her for two.

Christy was the rebel girl, the one who constantly got in trouble and never relied on anyone. She was also the “nonchalant” one in the relationship, at least in public.

    Unlike you.

You were the one that was sweet as sugar, the one who had perfect grades and the girl who has never seen the inside of a detention room in her life. And of course, you were the clingy one in public, but they all thought it was platonic.

Nobody knew you two were dating, and maybe that was a good thing considering that Christy wasn’t exactly the “perfect girl” for you.

But you didn’t let that get to your head, you loved Christy and you absolutely weren’t about to let her go just because of the possible consequences that could happen if anyone found out about you two dating.

Everyone just thought you were friends, which they were cool with. And no, it wasn’t that the school was homophobic or anything, it was just…uncommon to see two girls dating and not being friends instead.

You were sat in class, a few seats behind your beautiful soon-to-be wife, or so you believed. You already knew everything that was being taught, so you just scribbled in your notebook until class finally ended twenty minutes later.

You were walking with some friends to your locker. And that was another thing, you and Christy had completely different friend groups, it was almost strange how you even met. But it was at a party that you reluctantly attended, and you just.. approached her, not wanting to be a wallflower and seem lame or whatever.

You opened your locker, only to find a purple sticky note on the door of it. You pulled it off and brought it just a bit closer so you could read it. It said “meet me in the bathroom” with a little skull on the corner of it.

It was Christy, it had to be.

You packed your bag for your next class, shoving the note in the back pocket of your pants. You began to get tired of sneaking around all the time, you knew Christy had only good intentions, but you didn’t wanna be her dirty little secret.

But with the ridiculous hierarchy and cliques in the school? Maybe it was the other way around, maybe Christy was your dirty little secret and you didn’t want to think of it that way.

You pushed those thoughts out of your head made your way to the bathroom, opening the door and walking right in. It was empty, maybe. You and Christy had this one specific stall that you both met up in, it was strange, but beneficial when it wanted to be.

You walked into the second stall on the right side, and as expected, Christy was there.

“About time” She complained, looking up at you with those puppy brown eyes.

Her hands slid around your waist, bringing you close. You could see the doodles on her hand, assuming it was with pen, she was always bored in class anyway.

“I missed you, pretty girl.” She said, nuzzling her face into your neck affectionately. Should you bring up the thoughts you had earlier? Or just give in to whatever was about to happen? You couldn’t decide, but you knew it would come to you sooner or later.
