Red and MK arrived at the vacation home. A nice villa near their penthouse. It had a more modern aspect of it, which what appealed to the couple.

They then walk to the door "So, can you tell me why your mother hates her family so much?"

Red sighs "There are multiple reasons. They've tried to me away from mother and father when I was little for one, that's the main reason that my father hates them, but mother...."

"She was one of the most powerful warriors in the celestial army back then, but she told me she wanted to be so much more than a noble warrior, she wanted to enter godhood like Nezha. But they wouldn't allow her, say that she wasn't ready for a responsibilities as a god due to her being vain"

"If you think demons are strict about status, the celestial realm is even worse. Status and titles are basically everything to a celestial. You saw them react to your celestial title and everything" MK nodded, remember all the soldiers, warriors and nobles that bowed to him, and how flustered he was at that moment.

"So is your aunt and grandma the opposite of Iron Fan?" MK asked.

Red Son scoffed "To be honest, her and Aunt Jīnjiàn are cut from the same cloth, but don't tell either of them that I said that. Aunty cares for titles as much as mother does, but is more...lax than mother. She obviously works hard and takes her duties very seriously, but knows...where she stands, as she puts it and hates mother for even thinking of betraying heaven for her goals of being worshipped like a queen"

"Grandmother has been part of the court for eons. She helps organize the celestial realm and was a celestial warrior as well before her retirement. She sees mother and aunty as vain, but she favors aunt Jīnjiàn because she knows how to control her vanity. She's also VERY loyal to the celestial realm and isn't very fond of demon lords, which is why she hates father and shames mother, she takes it as a betrayal of the family"

MK blinks.

"So you're saying that your aunt takes 'If you fly too high, your gonna die' seriously and your grandmother and her sees PIF as a vain woman that betrayed her family that left for a little more power and authority on the mortal realm when she couldn't gain more authority in the celestial realm" MK says as Red Son was stunned.

"That's.... exactly right. Since when you decide to become the wise one" Red laughs as MK lets out and overly dramatic gasp.

"I'll let you know I have had many teachers to thank for that" MK says as Red Son scoffs playfully.

"You mean Wukong and Macaque arguing who's the better mentor?"

MK starts to laugh "Okay, you got me with that one" MK rings the door bell. "Well I know they're family to you and a family of yours is a family of mine as well. Maybe the wedding will get them at good terms" MK nuzzles against him.

Red Son sighs "Honestly, I'm praying to Quanyin for a chance to have that happen" They then hear loud heel clicks coming from the house. The door unlocks and Shengmu appears with a bright smile on her face.

"My little Spitfire!" Shengmu bear hugs Red Son to the point of almost strangling him.

The fire demon celestial hybrid hugged back "Hello grandmother"

The celestial kept her grip jumps up and down in excitement. "I'm so happy you're here, there's something I have to show-" she looks at the monkey boy right next to Red "Ooh what do we have here?~" The retired warrior sings with a giddy smile as she lets go of her grandson and gave her full attention to MK. "Hey Jīnjián, look who's here" The immortal with the yellow qipao and heels shows up near the door.

"My, my, is this your fiancé dear nephew?" She says with a cheeky smile. "Just as you described last week."
